15 lis 2018 · No, 'circle' means " draw a (real) circle around", but 'encircle' doesn't, it means " form a (rough) circle around", and can be used actively (soldiers encircled the village) or inactively (trees encircled the village). 30 cze 2011 · circle is a noun in your example. Out of = from or using in your example, i.e. it's a preposition governing the word paper. It's not part of a compound verb. I've never come across the term "circle out" as a compound verb. I'd have to interpret it as "exclude the circled items" and then my mind would balk because we normally use a circle to ...

We use "circle" often about physical things that resemble that shape. For example, people may "stand in a circle" or "sit in a circle". A highway may "circle the city" or "be a circle around the city".

It's a group of people who are acquainted and know each other, but they don't think about it or get together.

"Roundabout" is more common in British English, while in America "traffic circle" predominates, excepting in the northeastern "New England" states (in which region I live), where the term "rotary" is ubiquitous.
