23 lis 2006 · The annual Christmas Lights Switch-on event, organised by Dover Town Centre Management, will take place on Saturday 25 November in the Market Square, Dover. The event is expected to be attended by a capacity crowd of 5,000 plus. This popular all-day event will start at 11.00am and finishing at around 5pm.

On day of Christmas Cheer ( day of lights switch on) he is working with Dover town council and there will be events throughout town and at the centre. Will try and work out how to put programme on here! Lights switch on is 5.30 with members of the cast of Marlowe's Theatre Pantomime, Aladdin.
5 lis 2006 · Christmas Lights Switch-On Event Sunday, 5 November 2006 Dover Town Centre Management has announced details of the annual Christmas Lights Switch-On event, taking place on Saturday 25 November.
The Christmas lights now going up are all LED so that this year our electricity bill will be a fraction of last years. They will last longer and be a saving in the long run. Yes we have invested more this year but the results will be seen in following years and in any case the old lights failed their electrical test so would have needed expensive replacements anyway.
15 lis 2006 · Dover residents will get the chance to see tenor singer Miguel Moncloa perform at the Christmas Lights Switch-On Event later this month. The world class performer is scheduled to sing at 1pm at the event on 25 November.
1 gru 2006 · The Christmas lights have been switched on at the Burnham House Veterinary Surgery in Castle Street, Dover. Vet Jeremy Stattersfield invited along some little friends to perform the switch-on ceremony, bringing a colourful scene to life.

13 lis 2022 · Market Square will host a range of stalls from 12pm where you can do some Christmas shopping and enjoy the entertainment, food and drink available. The Lantern Procession begins at 6pm and includes four new big buildings lighting up Dover, starting from Dover College, heading through the High Street and finishing in Market Square.
