14 maj 2016 · 1. Press "Settings" (gear symbol) from Start menu. 2. When the Settings app is displayed, click on "Time & language" (time, and letter symbol). 3. After Time & Language settings screen is on the display, switch to "Region & language" tab (second from above). On this screen click "Add a language" (+ symbol) to add the English language.
6 paź 2021 · The system language and the display language of my windows 11 PC are English, but the Widgets APP on the taskbar appears in Chinese. What's more, there are a few Chinese characters, which reads "增值电信业务许可证..."in the settings. I feel like the widgets in my PC is of Chinese edition.
27 wrz 2022 · I bought my laptop within China mainland but I prefer my computer to display in English. I have changed preferred language in Settings(a widely used method), and it does work generally. However, there are still occasions when my computer displays in Chinese, such as Widgets on my taskbar, and instructions on a bluescreen.

1 sie 2022 · I understand from previous posts (and from my new China bought laptop), that the Chinese Windows software operating language cannot be changed in the ways that other languages can - it is locked. Somebody asked if we could simply upgrade it by buying from the US or UK site and if that would change the fundamental system to an English version.
