About Us. The Gamma Beta chapter was the first sorority founded at UCLA in 1923, marking the beginning of Greek Life on campus. Gamma Beta has flourished for more than 75 years at UCLA, and our members continue to balance our tenets of scholarship, philanthropy, and sisterhood.
