22 wrz 2017 · Playing an audio CD on the Wii requires converting it to the MP3 audio format, which can be done using the iTunes program which runs on Mac and Windows-based computers. Converting the audio CDs will let the music be played on the Nintendo Wii and will not damage the audio CD in any way.
Unfortunately the Wii's optical Drive isn't capable of reading CDs. Although it might be possible to do it with a USB disc drive, I know that WiiMC supports USB disc drives for Playining DVDs on later Wiis.

WiiMC can easily play a whole folder, by pointing at the folder and adding its contents to the playlist with the + button. Play mode selected (Continuous, Shuffle, Single etc.) only works if there are files in the playlist - it will not use the folder for playing a music file in (put them into the playlist).
