How you can access an electronic court case record depends on your relationship to the case. If you are a party to a case, you have full remote access to those case records. If you are a member of the public, there may be limits on what you can see through remote access.

In many courts, you can look up court cases online to find out basic information like the name of the parties, what documents have been filed, and whether there are any court dates. If this is not available online, you may be able to get the information at the courthouse, either on a court computer or from a court clerk.
Additionally, on the Appellate Courts docket search, you can find the docket for a case (and related information) by searching for the docket number, case name, or names of the parties associated with the case. Enter a seven character case number to lookup (e.g. S123456).
