Here you can find anything you need in terms of class setups. Mage is the most unique in terms of weapon variety in my opinion and is the most “glass cannon-y”. Rouge has the stealth mechanic, which is very interesting. The crystalline and it’s upgrades are also stupidly powerful from what I’ve seen.
The classes are pretty balanced but summoner is typically considered the best or atleast consistently in the upper tier. If/when you get that mod that fixes the nerf to summons when you hold a different weapon, summoner is the best. A summoner with a gun can destroy worlds. 27 votes, 30 comments.
19 kwi 2021 · I like the versatility of mage. If we include the Halibut cannon, the answer should be obvious. Summoner is the strongest class, because only they can efficiently afk farm for it XD. Melee means the boss chases you. This means in a multiplayer setting the boss is significantly more predictable than if you weren't melee.
Just even more reason for people to Catalyst! Melee, it's the most saturated class and has the best gear and the most fun progression, it's THE class for calamity. Melee- tanky and a power trip outside of high difficulties. Ranged- Massive DPS, best if you can dodge. Mage- versatility, weapons for every playstyle.

15 sie 2021 · Summoner is a powerful and fun class to play. Specially in CalamityMod, has very cool weapons, accessories and armours! It deals a lot of damage and you can concentrate in doging. Summoner is the strongest by far but mage to me was the most fun I had with a playthrough. Results is really a good class. Not rogue thats for sure. All the homes love summoner. the only three classes i like. melee, rogue, ranger. I found rogue to be the most enjoyable.
