14 lip 2022 · Buffalo Point is the only campground in the park that has water and electric (30/50 amp) hookups for RVs. Individual sites can be reserved 3 days to 6 months in advance. Loops A, B, D, E, and the walk-in tent sites are closed November 15 through March 14.
The river runs 135 miles without dams and cuts through the Arkansas Ozarks and into the White River. The region is surrounded by droves of lush hardwood trees and grassy open meadows. Two popular attractions within the Buffalo Point Area are the Indian Rockhouse Trail and the Rush Historic District.

The 135-mile national river is lined with bluffs as high as 440 feet. Riverside stands of willow, sycamore, river birch and cottonwood blend into the predominately oak-hickory upland forest. The Buffalo offers smallmouth bass, goggle-eye and other game fish along with swimming and canoe trips on this free-flowing river.
27 sie 2017 · This beautiful 3-mile loop at Buffalo Point Campground in the Buffalo National River near Yellville (Marion County, Ark.) is a must-see trail. The Indian Rockhouse Trail is wonderfully scenic with many great points of interest including sculpted bedrock, a waterfall, a former zinc mine, and the Indian Rockhouse Cave.
22 sie 2024 · Buffalo Point Campground is the park's largest and most developed campground with over 100 sites. It offers water and electrical hookups for RVs. Some sites at Buffalo Point are available for reservation at www.recreation.gov (1-877-444-6777) and others are first come, first serve.
23 paź 2024 · Located at Buffalo Point, both rustic and modern cabins are available for rental. These cabins are very popular and may be reserved 15 months in advance. A full service restuarant is open Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend.
