These VIN decoders are obsolete since mid-2019 when BMW started reusing the last 7 characters of the VIN. Only the full VIN is now unique. Some decoders recognize this and ask you to enter the full VIN or offer to choose the correct car from the ones that match those 7 characters, others just pull the first VIN that matches.
I'm not sure if you guys are looking into the details over your results after the VIN decoder but from what I've found, bimmer.work and others might work but aren't accurate. I looked up several different BMW's with DCT on Carvana with pictures, and the VIN decoders were pretty good on matching the colors but the transmissions noted from the decoder came out manual even though they were all DCT .

AFAIK BMW started to reuse the last 7 characters of the VIN, and those that are duplicate return a "VIN Not Found" or something similar. Trying to look up WBA4W5C04LFH12778 and when I do get a return is is for a 2000 M43 318i (and not a 2020 430i).
Ok, I don't know how others are getting results from bimmer.work, because for all three of my VINs I get the results "Something went wrong". I've tried in Chrome and Firefox, same results. I have tried other VIN decoder sites and the VINs work at those sites. Here are the last 7 digits of my VINS, maybe someone else will actually get a result:

BMW VIN-Decoder Anyone know the latest Vin codes for the 335d, i managed to track my old 335d in March 2013 and was wanting to do the same but the later numbers now seem to have gone into the 320d numbers.
