In November 2004, he was elected Mayor of Garden Grove, then re-elected in 2006, 2008, and 2010. Currently, Mayor Dalton serves as Chairman of the Orange County Sanitary District Operations Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Transportation Authority.
