BG3 Mod Manager works perfectly well and has never caused any issues for anyone. Meanwhile, comment sections on some mods are filled with Vortex users having problems with the way the software handles those mods. I'm reading those basically every day. Or users wishing for a modder to add a Vortex install option.
29 lut 2024 · For some reason the old save keeps saying improved UI is disabled, but it's in the mod manager in the overrides section. I had initially had it in the load order, but I was told it should be separate in the override section so I moved it back. The game seems to no longer recognize it though.
20 paź 2023 · Hello everyone, this is my first time using mods for BG3 and I have a bit of an issue. Basically, the hairstyles don't show up in the game. I have downloaded the most recent version and installed it with mod manager, I have installed mod fixer, the icon patch, and basically everything that's required, but they just don't show up.

I definitely wouldn’t use multiple mod managers at once since there isn’t a way to really tell BG 3 which one to use for different things. Whichever is open is the one it’ll use and the mod settings of one will overwrite the other when you apply the mods to your save. I’ve since switched to BG3 Mod Manager.
13 paź 2023 · In Vortex, you have to select the Mod Type in the right panel. If it's a .pak you have nothing to do. If it's some textures/meshes you have to select "BG3 Replacer". If it's a file in a /bin/ folder (like Native Camera Teaks), you have to select "Engine Injector" and then click on "Deploy" on the notification.
I also noticed two mods DiceSet_06 and Honour mods in my Mod Manager. I thought I accidentally downloaded extra mods or something, so I moved them to the inactive column. Upon some googling, it seems like these were mods included by some official BG3 patch.
11 sie 2023 · I’d go with BG3 Mod Manager. You can easily drag your mods to disable and save the clean load order. However, note any mods that ask you to place things in your ‘data’ folder do not get disabled as BG3 doesn’t handle loose files.
10 maj 2022 · Need help with file path for modding using BG3 Mod Manager. Mods / Modding Game Data Path and Game Executable Path isn't defined when I first opened the mod manager but I just wanted to be sure before changing it.
