  1. 7 sty 2013 · I heard Atlas 3 rail tracks were great and actually look more legit compared to FasTrack. I was hoping people could tell me what they thought of each and which would they lean towards. Thanks! Atlas-o is the quietest track and one of the best looking.

  2. I run the old Lionel 711 & 072 switches with my FasTrack and it repetatively accommodates all my different trains without any problems, what so ever. The DCS works just great with FasTrack and Tin Plate so I can run Conventional, DCS & TMCC/Legacy on it.

  3. 29 sie 2016 · I have a fair amount of Fastrack and a bit of RMT type track both Kline brand and RMT. Each has it's pluses and minuses the Shadow Rail's being scarcity and absurd prices - especially switches. I saw some Atlas on a table at a show yesterday with a car on it.

  4. I have Atlas track and switches. I have no problem with them but I wired my own power jumpers and the switch machines are stored in a cabinet. I replaced them all with DZ-2500s.

  5. 2 lut 2020 · For me Atlas track looks the best, and I really like the solid rail vs tubular. I also think the ties look more realistic with atlas. I use all atlas track, and mostly atlas switches, with a few Ross specialty switches.

  6. 21 gru 2023 · Given a choice between FasTrack and Atlas-O, I'd choose Atlas-O for it's more realistic appearance, conductivity (nickel-silver doesn't rust), noise suppression, mounting style, and Atlas' systematic approach to curve sizes (4.5" spacing).

  7. 22 kwi 2021 · Take a look at any O gauge layout these days and you’ll likely notice that it uses one of three main track types; Lionel FasTrack, MTH Realtrax, or some form of ballast-free track such as those available from Atlas or Gargraves. Older train layouts might even still use tubular track.
