When Alpha Delta Pi was founded in 1851, as the first secret society for women, our founders dreamed of creating a community that would encourage sisterhood and scholarship. Almost 275 years later, this sisterhood lives on through each of our members who constantly embody strength, compassion, and authenticity.
The establishment of the Iota Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at Florida State University dates back to 1909, marking it as one of the pioneering chapters within the Alpha Delta Pi organization. In 1932, our chapter made history by constructing the first sorority house in the state of Florida.
