  6. 17 lis 2012 · Fanny, I have a mix of Alien Bees and the White Lightening flashes. Honestly I prefer using my White Lightening X1600s indoors. If I want/need a hair light I will use my Alien Bee B800s on a boom for effect.

  7. 1 gru 2016 · The Alien Bee's specs refer to True Ws and Effective Ws. After doing some reading I think it comes down to efficiency and I'm most interested in Effective Ws when comparing monolights. Most monolight's specs don't say whether they're True or Effective.
