8 cze 2023 · On December 15, 2017, AIM was discontinued. While the instant messaging platform is no longer around, AOL's mail service, sometimes called AIM Mail but officially AOL Mail, is alive and well. You can log in to AIM Mail here using your old AIM username or full AOL email address.

15 paź 2023 · Actually, the truth is in many ways, AIM never went away. Anytime someone uses WhatsApp, WeChat, Discord, Line, Slack, Viber, Google Chat (just kidding — no one uses Google Chat), etc., they're using the same basic tool that America Online (AOL) developed in 1997.
