The Penn Relays (officially The Penn Relay Carnival) is the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States, hosted annually since April 21, 1895 by the University of Pennsylvania at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. In 2012, there were 116 events run at the meet.
25 kwi 2024 · The Penn Relays is the world’s first, longest-running and most widely recognized annual relay meet. Each year, this historic rite of spring — which typically takes place at the end of April — draws crowds of up to 100,000 to the University of Pennsylvania’s Franklin Field.
27 kwi 2005 · Cross the bridge into Philadelphia and exit at Exit 346B University Ave. and follow 34th St./University Ave. north towards the Penn hospital complex. After crossing the bridge, turn right onto Civic Center Blvd. This street turns into 33rd St. You can pull to the side of the road to unload.
