Janet Leigh, właściwie Jeanette Helen Morrison (ur. 6 lipca 1927 w Merced, Kalifornia, zm. 3 października 2004 w Beverly Hills) – amerykańska aktorka filmowa. Życiorys. W wieku 20 lat została „odkryta” przez aktorkę Normę Shearer, żonę dyrektora wytwórni filmowej Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
Urodzona w Mercedzie w Kalifornii. Będąc studentką muzyki i psycholigi zwróciła urodą uwagę Normy Shearer i podpisała kontrakt z MGM. Debiut w głównej roli "The Romance of Rosy Ridge" okazał się tak udany, że została gwiazdą, w szerokim repertuarze od musicali i komedii do westernów i dramatów.
