Accela Citizen Access. Online Permitting. On March 1st, 2023, the Department of City Planning has introduced Phase 1 of a simpler permitting process offering reduced wait times for permits, a central point of contact, and an improved, user-friendly portal.
By adding a professional license to your registration you may gain access to additional features in the Citizen Portal. Select a license type and enter a license number to look up your license. Your license must be valid and active to add it to your citilizen account.
Submit requests via Access Citizens Access portal. Applications can be found under Create - > Create Planning Application -> Select Digital Submission -> Online Planning Application radio button in Accela Citizens Access.
