- AABB Rhyme Scheme

AABB rhymes schemes are simple and easy to follow, making them popular choices in children’s poems or nursery rhymes. They have thus become associated with innocence over time. Here are three slightly different cat poems, each with a different rhyme scheme. The first is AABB , the second is ABAB , and the third is ABCB ): My cat is n ice .
