9 paź 2022 · 700x is one of a half dozen powders on my list. My long range plan is to acquire powder that goes well with the hulls and wads I already have, AND with chedditte primers. If I don’t see any win209 primers by next year and no Clays powder, time to change things up.

13 mar 2014 · 700x is my powder of choice, it is a fast rate powder, similar to RD-Clays-etc good for what you are looking for. Reasonably clean, fairly dense, not temp sensitive. A little pricey since Hodgen got the sales rights to it.

25 mar 2022 · This extruded flake powder is ideally suited for shotshells in 12- and 16-gauge where clay target and light field loads are the norm. It doubles as an excellent pistol target powder for such cartridges as the 38 Special, 45 ACP and many more.
11 mar 2006 · Low-recoil load, relatively clean burning, and it breaks targets if I do my part. 700 X is also a good powder for 38 special target loads if you reload handgun. I've been using 700X since I started reloading 18-19 years ago, and have been happy with the results.
13 gru 2012 · Although there are many other good powders out there, 700x is my mainstay for reliability, accuracy and very clean burning. Which is what I need for competition shooting. Plus, it helps the pocketbook when shooting allot since it's typically cheaper than most powders out there.
