As a 4-H club member, you have the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, learn about projects, and participate in club trips and activities, and more. Each club is unique, as YOU determine the focus of your own club.
Horse special interest club. Leader: Laura Harper – 704-425-1521. Meets 1st Monday of the month at 6:15 p.m. at Hollow Oak Farm, 100 Russette Ln., Midland, NC. Call for meeting information. Club Specialty: district and state horse knowledge competitions, shows, 4-H projects and presentations.
The Forestry, Wildlife, & Environmental Education 4-H Club is available for any child between the ages of 8 to 18 years old with an interest in forestry, wildlife, and their environment. This hands-on 4-H club meets once a month in Monroe with various topics including habitats, birds, trees, sustainable shelters for animals, and so much more.
Emphasis: General. About: This new club for ECHHS Students is currently exploring teen 4-H opportunities including 4-H Presentations and the Application, Interview, Resume, Essay (AIRE) contest. This club also coordinates service projects on and near campus.
Start a new 4-H club . . . just 5 members and an adult is all you need. Join a special interest group–a group that gets together for a short time to learn about one thing, or to participate in one activity. Talk to your school about 4-H school enrichment programs.
