14 maj 2015 · I ask this because 1.8 has alot of bugs in it and 1.8.4 has many of them fixed, this shouldn't be too hard nor effect modders too badly except that they will have to re-compile with the new version of forge if it comes out and 1.8.4 is after all compatible with older 1.8.X versions! So to your actual question: No, you cannot run Forge with Minecraft 1.8.4 because the Minecraft obfuscation table changes with each release (no matter how minor the change). You will need to use Optifine for Minecraft 1.8.0 to use it with Forge.
Flan (originally from Fabric LANd) allows you to create and manage claims on your minecraft world. With commands, gui and world interactions you can easily create and manage those. Flan is completly server side only meaning you could setup a fabric server with Flan and connect with a vanilla client and it will work just as fine.
