I have an original zune 30gb and the battery doesn't seem to be holding up as well as it used to. I bought it new about three years ago or so give or take. The battery doesn't seem to last a day at work like it used to (listening to fm radio and music playback).
From the guides I've seen, batteries that work with iPod video 5th or 5.5 gen are recommended for use with Zune 30. I had the same question and am looking for the slim 3000mAH kind but have only seen it on Amazon.
6 gru 2014 · You need a replacement battery. The Zune batteries arent good for long. Try and find one online, and watch a video on how to install it. - Microsoft Zune 30 GB.

29 lis 2007 · If your Zune is draining its battery really fast after applying the latest firmware update, have no fear, this site has a solution. It worked on my Halo 3...
With the Zune facing down, as pictured, the battery ribbon cable is attached to the bottom right hand side of the logic board. Use the small flat head screw driver to gently lift the brown clamp. The clamp will release the battery ribbon cable from the logic board, freeing the battery.
