Just follow the instructions. I never had operating distance issues as I had my Zune 4GB in a arm band. So I'm thinking it will be fine in my wife's new car on my soon to be alive Zune 30GB in the front cup holder. (Her new car does NOT have an aux jack, bluetooth only, these new cars are limiting.) My car has a aux jack so I'll use a cable there.

30gb Zune Battery Replacement. Wanting to have my music library in the car with me without relying on my phone, I dug out my old 30gb 1st generation Zune. However, the battery is shot. Does anyone know the best vendor selling a battery replacement, the best battery replacement, or how to do it?
I've seen battery replacements kits on ebay for around 10.00 usd. One of them says to use a trained technician to do the replacement. Is this doable on your own?

What you need. Tools. Flathead 3/32" or 2.5 mm Screwdriver $5.49. Step 1 Back Case. Remove the plastic screw cover located on the bottom of the device. Insert a small flat-headed screwdriver into one side of the cover and gently ease it out. Repeat on the other side. Be gentle when removing the screw cover as it is brittle and will break if forced.
