Update: came home from work to troubleshoot, the Zune is responsive again. Charging now, at 4.95 volts/ .42 amps. 40 mAh later, and it just powered on while writing this post!! I wonder if it has some sort of poly fuse on the power supply circuit, like a raspberry pi?
