28 maj 2004 · I saw these in Summit for the 89-93 and 94-96 Corvettes and they go for $600 for the kit (clutch, pressure plate, and bearings) it's a kevlar disk and it said it could handle head and cam mods.
16 wrz 2007 · I have been running the Zoom HP5552-1 in my Chevelle for about four years, its not a daily driver but it does see it's hard runs. The Chevelle is rated at 450 HP and have not had any severe problems.
4 gru 2022 · It seems that zoom clutch (in name anyway) is one that has been around forever, much like Hays, McLeod etc. Does anyone here know anything about "old school" zoom clutches?
1 wrz 2007 · A good quality diaphram clutch will provide plenty of holding power for all but the hugest motors, smooth engagement, and a light easy pedal. I use a zoom clutch with a hayes street/strip disk. It works VERY well.
6 lut 2023 · I’m trying to make up my mind on the clutch for my ‘60 El Camino. It’ll have a 9.6:1 vortec headed 350 with a roller cam, nothing too wild, a M20 and a posi. I’ve got a Summit billet flywheel. It’ll be a low cruiser but I wanna make some noise and kill some tires once in a while too.
