The shelf life of batteries and pads ranges by manufacturer and model. Both can last anywhere from two to five years. Most ZOLL consumables have an industry-leading, five-year life span. Please refer to your device manual for guidance and strictly adhere to any expiration dates on consumables.
Check for the green check ( ) in the status indicator window showing that the AED Plus is ready to use. Verify that electrodes pads are within their expiration date. Verify that batteries are within their expiration date. Typically 5 years from date of installation.
13 lip 2017 · A symbol of an hour glass indicates an expiration date. This date specifies when the AED accessory should be replaced. If an expiration date is shown, one should replace the accessory no later than that printed date. A symbol of a building indicates a manufactured date.
Check the expiration date of your AED pads (Adult and Pediatric). Most ZOLL AED's utilize the CPR-D pads which have a green tab which shows the expiration date (as shown below). Pediatric Pads (optional) have a similar tab but is blue in color.

• Apply freshly opened and undamaged electrodes, within the electrode expiration date, to clean and dry skin to minimize burning. • DO NOT place the electrodes directly over the victim’s implanted pacemaker.
