18 mar 2011 · Had no idea this thing existed. Can't find any recent info but found threads on Porsche forums from 2008 saying they were embroiled in a legal battle with Porsche and were selling these for $3k. Pretty awesome when the dealer charges $2,900 for that horrific-looking OEM hardtop.
30 paź 2006 · The Zeintec composite hardtop for the Boxster 986 is now ready for ordering. The 987 model will take a further 6-8 weeks before the production model will be ready. why on earth would you want to do that?
19 paź 2007 · I inquired about the Zeintec top early on so I get emails from them. The last one was the announcement the firt U.S. top was installed and the price dropped from $4999 to $4350..plus freight. I would take one for $2500 to $3000 but would still have think hard due to the removal of the trunk and clamshell.
25 wrz 2006 · The hard top shown at Essen is the first prototype, and Zeintec is already working at the second prototype which has some light modifications regarding the side window. It's due to be finished in February. Expect a price around €4,500 (£3,000). (approx $5200 US) _____
13 lip 2007 · Use the Zeintec for the winter months and switch back for the summer months. Yes, this topic has been beaten to death but I think it looks great however the price is still too steep. If they get down into the sub 3k arena they may wind up making some noise given the cost of the stock bubble top.
