I am thinking about buying a Zaryte Crossbow. Are there any uses on this outside of Nex? Can it be used to do Corp efficiently? Would I still need to lower stats normally? It's just speculation right now but it looks to be OK in ToA. Anyone that has bought one, where do you use it?

Hi fellow scapers, I was wondering if it is worth it to spend the majority of my bank on a Zaryte crossbow (predominantly for mini mass / small team Nex).
The Zaryte crossbow is a ranged weapon that requires a Ranged level of 80 to wield, and can fire up to dragon bolts. Unlike other crossbows, the Zaryte crossbow grants defensive bonuses. It is one of two crossbows with a Prayer bonus, along with the Armadyl crossbow from which it is crafted.

The difference is negligible, ZCB is ~0.2 more DPS over ACB and it performs worse than BOFA against literally everything with a reasonable defense level (<50k ED). It's spec is very niche as it currently stands and isn't going to stand up against the current claw/hammer/bgs meta. For a supposedly tier 80 weapon, its incredibly underwhelming.
