11 cze 2019 · Luckily for us, its a direct swap)- used pieces or new or a mix of both (z-bar, z-bar bushing and felt, zbar bellhousing bracket and ball, throwout fork, throwout fork linkage and tension spring), get the frame bracket with the ball in the right position on the frame if its not already, and start from that point to get this problem solved.
16 sty 2022 · So I have bought 4 Z bars in anticipation of getting a 4 speed. All seem to have been repaired, one was unusable. (thats a whole other story that a certain individual isn't finished hearing about, I wont mention any names, but he knows who he is.)
16 mar 2009 · The top z-bar is the offset style which we want to put on the 70 for header clearance, but it won't fit unless we change the frame braket, you need the straight one like chev-o posted, or drill out the frame rivets and use the matching frame bracket and the offset bar.
9 lut 2009 · NOTHING should be mounted directly to the frame on a rubber mounted engine, unless, like the Z-bar mount, that's isolated in rubber at the frame. You'll end up breaking exhaust parts of that's the case, or worse, snapping off an exhaust stuf on the head, or breaking a head casting.
26 lut 2018 · Anyone have easy access to their Z bar or perhaps an extra big block Z bar laying around. Because of the issue in the link I am trying to figure out my problem. I have pretty much illiminated anything with the clutch fork or pivot ball.
24 mar 2012 · Anyway, I bought a new z-bar to install when I put the engine back in (I probably just needed some new seals, etc but thought I just get a new z-bar kit) and I was wondering if anyone has any tips for assembly/re-install of the new z-bar.
14 sie 2021 · If you are going to replace cam, tuner and pipes to get ~150 (which is about what it should be) then why start with HD/SE as warrently is void. Much better just starting with a cheaper S&S/fuel motor kit and be done with it. The 131 kit leaves way to much on the table and offers stage 2 performance.
