Inherently, RTIC’s claim to fame that their products are essentially the same or better in terms of performance while also being significantly cheaper has brought along a stigma, in my opinion. To me, RTIC is a good competitor to Yeti but is Yeti’s cheaper/less expensive alternative.

19 cze 2023 · Yeti and RTIC are not the same company, in fact Yeti sued RTIC for patent and trademark infringement. Yeti was founded in 2006 and is owned primarily by New York private equity firm Cortec Group who has plans to take the company public in the near future.

6 lut 2017 · In July of 2015, Yeti filed a lawsuit against RTIC. The company commonly features comparisons of their products against Yeti products on their website. The ruling requires RTIC to redesign all products featured in the lawsuit. Until the redesign, RTIC is required to cease sales of these products.
