The Yellow-Bellied Sea Snake is a striking marine reptile with a black upper body and vivid yellow underside. Its paddle-shaped tail helps it navigate the open ocean, where it spends its entire life. This moderately-sized snake averages 60 cm but is capable of reaching a meter in length.
