The primary goal of our financial aid program is to ensure that all admitted students can afford to attend Yale Law School regardless of their financial resources. We determine the financial aid offers based on a budget of tuition and fees plus allowances for living expenses, books, and travel.
Tuition and estimated living expenses for graduate students in the LL.M. program in 2024–2025 are the same as for J.D. students (see Financing Law School, above). Tuition and fees for resident J.S.D. students in 2024–2025 are $28,933 and $2,325, respectively, for the academic year.
