On the left side, at the top you have the three major manufacturers: Icom, which was started by Inoue in 1964, with 472 products, Kenwood/Trio with 327 products and Yaesu with 350 products listed.
It has better reception on 2 than the two TS-2000's that I have used, and looks better too. The reasons for the rating is: Pro's, It is an excellent SSB radio when used with good preamps, and amps.

The FT-2000 provides a full 100 Watts of power output (AM: 25 W) on the 160-6 Meter Amateur bands, and the U.S. version includes a special memory bank containing the five 60-meter channels, as well. Superb continuous receive from 30 kHz to 60 MHz is provided.
