30 lis 2015 · Hello KC4RAF, I've also got a FT-2900R. It actually puts out 5/10/ 30 /75 watts as input into a tuned antenna. 28 cze 2018 · I truly believe I could run my truck over it (8,000lbs) without hurting it. Crisp and clean audio that you can actually hear over t sound of my diesel with the windows open, plenty of memory storage, excellent power and a host of great features make this a great "first 2m rig" for any ham. Performance. Build quality.
This radio's strongest quality is that it feels absolutely indestructible. The heatsink is solid alloy, the buttons and knobs are stiff (in a good way), and the screen is gigantic. If you value the 80 watt rated output, the 2980 would make an excellent base radio.
