Zaynab bint Jaḥsh (Arabic: زينب بنت جحش; c. 590–641), was the first cousin [1] and the seventh wife of Muhammad and therefore, considered by Muslims to be a Mother of the Believers. [2] Zaynab's father was Jahsh ibn Riyab, an immigrant from the Asad ibn Khuzaymah tribe who had settled in Mecca under the protection of the Umayya clan.
Zaynab bint Ali (Arabic: زَيْنَب بِنْت عَلِيّ, c. 626–682), was the eldest daughter of Fatima and Ali ibn Abi Talib. The former was a daughter of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, and the latter was his cousin. Ali is also recognized as the fourth Rashidun caliph (r. 656–661) and the first Shia imam.
