12 gru 2007 · XOT (X.25 Over TCP) is designed by Cisco Systems, and is detailed in Request For Comments (RFC) 1613, to transport X.25 over IP internets. This allows X.25 packets to be sent over a Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network instead of a Link Access Procedure, Balanced (LAPB) link.
The X.25 over TCP (XOT) protocol encapsulates X.25 packets into TCP packets, allowing two X.25 networks to communicate over an IP network. XOT establishes a TCP connection between the two X.25 networks and encapsulates X.25 packets into TCP packets as the application layer data.
The following describes how XOT works to forward X.25 packets from Router A to Router D (this example uses SVCs): Router A sends a call request to Router D for setting up a virtual circuit. Router B receives the request and decides that this is an XOT application.

This approach was motivated by Google DeepMind’s AlphaZero, which achieves competitive performance with extremely small neural networks.
XoT combines pretrained reinforcement learning and Monte Carlo Tree Search (MCTS) to incorporate external domain knowledge into thoughts, thereby enhancing Large Language Models' (LLMs) capabilities and enabling them to generalize to unseen problems efficiently.
We will discuss how Cisco's XOT works, how our LayGO® XOT client can be used to interface to legacy equipment through Cisco XOT routers, and then how this solution can be greatly improved by using the PXSe as an X.25 to TCP/IP gateway.
