Have you looked at gamepads with thumsticks like the Razer orbweaver/ tartarus? I'm not sure if it'll be better on your wrist, but you could do all your editing with just the one hand. The Tartarus Pro has optical keys too and you can map 2 different commands to each key and which one you use depends on how far down the key presses.

What you need is a DAW (digital audio workstation). "Cakewalk by BandLab" is completely free. "Reaper" is another, technically not free, but gives you unlimited trial with full functionality. I'd recommend Reaper, UI may not be as polished as other big names, but it's way less recourse intensive and community is great.
No problem! Davinci is a very powerful software, especially for being free. I freelance in doing most video editing and use it every day.
The audio is all original music and dialogue, nothing licensed or from the YouTube Audio Library is used. Thinking I had done something wrong, I reverted back to original (keep in mind every edit + save and revert to original takes a couple hours for processing so all of this troubleshooting has been EXTRA annoying).
