26 lis 2011 · The 360 S has no extended three year RRoD warranty. It just has the regular 1 year warranty.
Our SNES, Genesis, Gamecube, Wii, Xbox 360 (refurbished by MS), Xbox One (X and S), PS3, PS4 (Base and Pro) and all handhelds continue to work fine. The paid extended warranty would have never, ever helped me. I've sent 4 360's in for repair but that was Microsoft's free extended warranty. Reply reply More replies.

28 sie 2016 · Microsoft must abide by various legislation that mean you can return goods under certain circumstances but their warranty is an entirely optional customer service issue. The 1-year warranty is in addition to your statutory rights, such as those mandated by the EU or the UK's Consumer Rights Act.
23 sty 2014 · I can't tell you how many times I've had to go round and round with computer manufacturers trying to get warranty authorization on a repair because of this. The other common method is by the serial number and its manufacturing or even refurbishing date.
