Many games of xbox 360 (and ps3) have those issues of screen tearing, on PC you can fix that by turning v-sync on, but on consoles there's nothing you can do about it. If you play the xbox 360 titles on xbox one/series, most games have v-sync enabled by default, the screen tearing is gone, that fix works even on the base xbox one.

Maybe I am spoiled by modern gaming, but I’ve gone back and played some games on my 360 to get achievements and the screen tearing is pretty bad. Was the normal back in the day? I don’t remember it when playing 360 on my old CRT OR hdtv. However, I see it on my 4k tv PS3 has a similar issue.
Some games on 360 and ps3 and have absolutely horrible headache inducing screen tearing, don't remember half life 2 having any but you have proof it does. Was playing my modded 360 a few weeks ago and a few games had very minimal screen tearing but others like Infernal, c&c 3, dark, and I can't remember the others.
21 mar 2021 · Original Xbox games run in 720P HD resolution when running on the 360. If you connected up a 360 to a modern HDTV with a composite cable the image quality will be really bad and will have no impact on any screen tearing anyway.

15 lip 2009 · My games doesn't have tearing screen on my old zenith 25" tv (soon going out and blurred little bit). I plan to get new Samsung 32" HDTV LCD 120 Hz at best buy store later this year.
