21 lis 2011 · When i turn my xbox slim on it lights up with a single red dot in the center and the screen is black. Before the red dot appeared, my console would freeze at a constant rate. I would appreciate any enlightenment on this issue.

According to the status page there is a problem with loading games/apps on the 360. Be patient, they should have it fixed soon.
Hard reset: unplug everything, hold sync + eject, turn on and wait for 2nd chime. 2nd chime never comes and thus the Xbox stays on black screen. (Xbox was stuck on green loading screen about a month ago and that fixed it, but not this time)
15 cze 2016 · I found an already answered question that may help: My xbox is lit with a single red dot. How dust are the air vents on your system? Is there a red light on the power supply as well? If there is a red light on the power supply, you may need to replace it.
In this case, we may need to reset your console to factory default keeping your games and apps through the Xbox Troubleshooter page. This will remove all of your accounts but you can re-add all of them later on.
