The issue I am having right now though is that when I try to run the sim through steam it starts and enters a full screen black window and then it crashes to the desktop a couple of seconds later for seemingly no reason except maybe one of my addons is faulty and causing a crash.

31 gru 2020 · If X-Plane is crashing, please first try removing all of your 3rd party plugins. If X-Plane is crashing while using one particular add-on aircraft, try testing with a default aircraft like our Cessna 172. If that resolves the issue, that aircraft is most likely the source of the problem.

31 mar 2018 · I've downloaded the x-plane demo so I can check how well it runs on my PC before buying the full thing but when I try to run the demo installer I get an error saying "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher".
