TL;DR: Wyze had a security incident where you could view others cameras. Wyze hasn't given much information as to why. A good quote being: "Wyze has not proactively reached out to all its customers, nor has it been adequately accountable for its failures.
Author at the Verge raves about Doorbell Pro, them promptly puts out article on "best video doorbells to buy in 2022" and doesn't even mention it. Don't rely on tech review sites. They are either all high or paid off because explain this, from the very same author:

Earlier this week I mentioned I had purchased the Ring Doorbell (2020), and liked it overall, but was curious about the Wyze Doorbell Pro. I did end up purchasing the Wyze Doorbell Pro to test out. I had a couple small issues after setting up it but quickly got those resolved.
