Tuition Benefits for WPI Employees. If you are a new or returning WPI graduate student seeking loans, you must complete the school year appropriate WPI Graduate Student Loan Form. If you are seeking federal loans, you must also complete or renew your Federal Student Aid FAFSA.
Student loans are financial aid that must be repaid. Most educational loans (with the exception of private/alternative credit based loans) are part of the William D. Ford Direct Federal Loan program (DL). Federal Direct Loans. Massachusetts No Interest Loan. WPI Institutional Loans. Monthly Payment Plan. Federal Parent PLUS Loan. Private Loans.
Satisfactory academic progress for Direct Loan borrowing is evaluated on an annual basis at the end of the spring semester. Private student loans are also available to students enrolled in graduate programs, certificate programs or to students who are not enrolled on at least a half-time basis.
We offer aid to students and access to programs that can help lower the cost of college. These include need- based financial aid packages, merit scholarships, on-campus employment, as well as loan programs and payment plans for parents.
Prospective graduate students submit their applications for all WPI graduate programs online at www. grad.wpi.edu/+apply. Some programs require the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) or GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test).
