30 maj 2017 · A combat log bug that was introduced in 2.4, the macro resets the log which makes Recount(and other stuff) work again. Combat Log Fix addon was supposed to fix it automatically but it doesn't work for me, the macro works perfectly though.
Q: I don't see Recount after installing, what to do? A: /recount show, then /recount resetpos. If this doesn't help delete all (there are more than one) Recount.lua files in your WTF directory.

The outdated version keeps on crashing and doesn’t tell you the DPS correctly wherever a game goes through a huge update.
