19 kwi 2020 · What I’m wanting is to adjust my modifier keys so that W is alt, S is shift, and E is ctrl. This way, I could use macros to essentially turn my 12 button mouse into a 36 button mouse, without having to use my pinky. I’d be using A and D to strafe, and the aforementioned keys as my modifiers.
For those that don't know - you can download a program called "KeyTweak", which will let you rebind any key on your keyboard to anything you want. For example I rebound my capslock key to be "F9", so that I could bind it in game. My capslock key no longer locks the caps, but I never used that key.

BindPad is an addon to make key bindings for spells, items, and macros. You no longer need actionbar slots just to make key bindings for your macros etc. The BindPad addon provides many icon slots in its frame. You can drag and drop anything into one of these slots, and click the slot to set key bindings.
This addon automatically detects what keyboard keys are used for movement and doesn't add corresponding action buttons on the screen. If you ever change movement keys in settings, please reload the UI.
21 cze 2022 · I have shift, alt, ctrl because my hotbars are hotkeyed to 1 through = with combinations of shift, alt, ctrl. I also use a Corsair Scimitar mouse, with the 12-key numpad set to the base 1-12 hotkeys. This way I can hit the 7-12 buttons to cast my auxiliary spells/abilities (cooldowns).
