5 mar 2012 · You can get a complete brand new basket press (#25) for about 2X that. By the time you purchase the supplies to make a basket might be about the same price. Of course you could use the hydraulic press for other stuff I guess!
I wanted a cheap arbor press in my workshop, and the reviews of Harbor Freight's arbor press on their website made it seem "good enough", so I got one. It only took an hour of use before the shine came off. Sand cast failure in the feet have left one of the feet with a large crack.
17 lis 2018 · I chose the bolt together model. Like most Harbor Freight items it requires a bit of finessing. I spent couple of hours tweeking things and it's works OK. Northern Equipment has a similar model that has a much better traveling press bar arrangement.

1 lut 2018 · The Arcan/Central Hydraulic 50 ton press from Harbor freight is $900 shipped. The cheapest Made in the USA is at least double that. How has the Arcan one been for anyone who owns it?
