5 kwi 2011 · Windows 7 recently started not loading anymore. After the flashing windows logo and before the login screen (I have several users set up), the screen goes blank with only the movable mouse cursor visible. Booting into Safe Mode (via F8) yields the same blank screen.

21 gru 2012 · Enable autologin to try to get beyond the login screen - done, doesn't work. It seems the best advice is complete reinstall, but I really don't want to do that because it'll take 3-4 days to add all the apps I use.
13 kwi 2016 · Right when I resume my Windows 7 computer from hibernation, it decides to install updates. I let it do that. So when it restarts by itself, the computer does the Windows 7 Starting Windows screen then transitions to a black screen with a cursor.
1 maj 2016 · When I start Windows, after the animation, I get a black screen with only my cursor for about ten seconds before the logon prompt. When I enter my password, it sits at the welcome screen for another ten seconds before I get to the desktop. Why is this happening?
