Signing in to Win10 with my Microsoft Account is generating a user name with my email, truncated to five characters. For example; foobar@outlook.com becomes "fooba;" C:\Users\fooba. Is there any way to change the local name?
You can rename the user profile folder: Create a local admin account, reboot, log in with the admin account. You can adjust the path in the registry. In regedit, go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\<SID>
This is the correct answer. I activated win 10 pro with HWIDGEN but still needed to activate office 2019. There's a few tutorials for Office, and it's super easy... Download, click a few settings and it works.... The only problem I had was I had to remove office first and reinstall, I had the wrong version installed I think..
