This is a simplified guide (or more a check list) for troubleshooting common problems to gain a stable setup with USB-Loader GX on (v)Wii including Nintendont. It can also be used to identify a problem with the USB-Loader Wiiflow lite.
5 paź 2024 · Since the real NAND of the Wii has only 512MB memory, I wanted to display and start the WiiWare as WADs via the USB Loader. The WADs are in a separate folder "/wad" on the stick (and also on the SD Card).
2 sty 2024 · Go to https://wiidatabase.de/downloads/kanaele/usb-loader-gx-forwarder-wii/ and download the WAD file. We then need an application to help us install the WAD file. We’ll use YAWMM.
Make sure USB loader gx itself is using a cIOS (not just to load games). Then all you have to do is install the WADs into the emunand instead of your real nand. You can do this in USB loader gx's features->emunand wad manager.
By default, USB Loader GX uses USB port 0, which is circled here: If it doesn't work in port 0, it's possible the setting was changed at some point. Try putting it in the other port. If it still doesn't work, put it back in port 0 and continue troubleshooting.
Does anyone have a guide for installing those? If I'm understanding correctly, I can just put the WiiWare and VC games in a folder on my USB and load them from something in USB Loader called the WAD manager, with no problems. Am I wrong in thinking that?
